Global Education Institute Slovakia (GEIS)

Global Education Institute Slovakia (GEIS) was established to provide the finest education and training in the field of Hospitality Management, Health Care Management and for offering other educational programs for the Slovak students and for the international students.The GEIS is located in the beautiful city of Bratislava(capital of Republic of Slovakia) and it is in the heart of Europe.In about 40 minutes time by car one can reach to Vienna from Bratislava and due to the close proximity of the two cities (Vienna and Bratislava), it is called the "twin city" of the world.This twin city area is the cultural center of Europe and oneof the most tourist attractive locations in the European Union area.From Bratislava to all major European cities can reach in about three to four hours time by car or by train.
 
Currently the Global Education Institute is in the process of establishing and completing the academic facility in Pezinok region (about 20 kilometer from Bratislava) for providing various educational and training programs under the approval and license of Ministry of Education, Republic of Slovak.The GEIS has also established partnership with other Governmental and private educational institutes (under the license of Slovak Ministry of Education) for providing education and training for students in the region and students around the world.Under the present set up of Global education Institute Slovakia and European International University in Georgia has established special partnership and under this unique education cooperation, students and graduates from the European International University can come to Bratislava for completing their advanced studies in the field of Hospitality Management, Health Care Management and for other educational fields.The principles and the senior Management of GEIS have over 30 years of international experience providing the best education and training in various disciplines.Furthermore, the professors, teachers and trainers of GEIS are highly qualified by their education and they are professional practitioners in their respective field of expertise.

The Global Educational Institute Slovakia is currently offering the following educational and training programs :


 

Hospitality Management Programs

(a) 12 months certificate programs in Hospitality Management (for cookery, waiter/waitress and Hotel/Restaurant Service and Management Training).

(b) Higher Secondary Diploma in Hospitality Management : this program is designed for 10th grade graduates to join for our program and they study 3 years.Participating students will have three options in specialization, (a) cookery program, (b) waiter/waitress, (c) Hotel/Restaurant Service Management Training.

(c) Hospitality Management Diploma : This is a 24 months accelerated program; students would be able to finish in 24 months time.

(d) Master of Hospitality Management : this is a 22 months program and students study 12 months in Georgia and the Graduates will receive the accredited degree from the European International University upon successfully completing the program. (This program will be available only from  September 2010).

Health Care Management Programs

(a) 15 months certificate program in geriatric care for qualified Slovak and International nurses ( this program consists of theory and practical ); all participating students have the opportunity to do practical training in various health care facilities in Slovakia and in the EU regions during the study period.This certificate program is offering in partnership of the European International University and PJSU faculty of Medicine Kosice, Slovakia.

(b) Master of Health Care Management: this is a 22 months program and students study 12 months in Georgia and the last 10 months of studies and practical training with the Global Education Institute Slovakia and with its EU Health care partners.Graduates will receive the accredited degree from the European International University upon successfully completing the program. (This program will be available only starting September 2010).
